Summary
Guidelines adopted and proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly in its resolution 45/112 of December 14, 1990. They hold that the prevention of juvenile delinquency is part of crime prevention in society. They are organized in seven chapters: fundamental principles, scope, general prevention, socialization processes, social policy, legislation and administration of juvenile justice, and research, policy development, and coordination.
