Summary
A monograph arguing that negotiation techniques are a necessary element of conciliation at the preliminary hearing in Bolivian civil proceedings. The first chapter sets out the rationale for the work and explains why these techniques matter within the judicial function, and why it is advisable for civil judges to know them and study them in depth. It is useful for judicial staff and for those training as conciliators in Bolivia.
