Summary
Lecture by judge Martha Patricia Tarinda Azuara, member of the Sixth Criminal Chamber of the Tribunal Superior de Justicia de la Ciudad de México, the first of the criminal law module of a series for judicial officers. It addresses alternative dispute resolution mechanisms in criminal matters and, in particular, the reparation agreement, with two questions: what is the role of the State in relation to that agreement and how it is viewed from the standpoint of victims’ rights. It lasts one hour. It is useful for those applying the adversarial criminal procedure in Mexico.
