Summary
A systematic literature review, carried out at the Universidad César Vallejo in Trujillo, on how the social reintegration of adolescents who have committed offences is developing through mediation with a restorative approach. It starts from the recognition of the juvenile criminal justice system as the basis for protecting the rights of the adolescent and the victim, and of mediation as a route to reparation agreements and a faster process. It draws on the UN guidelines and the minimum rules for juvenile justice. It is useful for students and researchers seeking an overview of restorative youth mediation.
