Summary

A chronicle by Diana Márquez on the letter that Daniela, the daughter of a man murdered in an ordinary crime, wrote during the trial of the perpetrator, and on the later meeting between the two. It tells how she met Marcela Gudiño, Daniela's mother, at a training at the Consejo de la Magistratura of the City of Buenos Aires, and reproduces the letter, which Daniela had made public on her social media. It presents the case as a testimony of spontaneous restorative justice, centered on forgiveness and empathy. It is useful as a case for work in trainings.
