Summary
An acordada (resolution) by which the Paraguayan Supreme Court, together with the Ministry of Justice, the Public Prosecution Service and the Public Defence Service, approves the regulation on criminal mediation for adolescents in conflict with the criminal law, within the restorative justice programme. It sets out how mediation is organised in criminal cases involving adolescents under the Dirección de Mediación of the judiciary. It is useful for judges, prosecutors, defence counsel and mediators working in juvenile criminal justice in Paraguay.
