Ley 6736: Sistema de Justicia Procesal Juvenil

Summary

A law of the province of Corrientes, enacted on November 26, 2025, that creates the criminal jurisdiction of the youth justice system, with specialized bodies, for persons under eighteen who commit acts classified as offenses that do not fall under federal jurisdiction. It sets a socio-educational and restorative purpose, regulates procedural rights and guarantees, includes juvenile criminal mediation, and creates the Restorative Justice Office. It takes effect three months after its publication in the Official Gazette.
