Summary
A report by the CNJ's Department of Judicial Research on the implementation of the national restorative justice policy established by Resolution 225/2016 in the 27 state courts of justice and the 6 regional federal courts. It surveys central coordinating bodies, training courses and their hours, registration and requirements for facilitators, methods, teams, community participation, the areas that refer cases, and each court's regulations. Among other findings, it reports that the 33 courts that responded have created a central body and that the peacemaking circle is the most widely used method (93.9%).
