Summary
The official text of the National Constitution, enacted in 1853 with the amendments of 1860, 1866, 1898, 1957, and 1994, whose publication was ordered by Law 24.430 (enacted December 14, 1994; Official Gazette of January 10, 1995). Article 75, paragraph 22 grants constitutional rank, under the conditions of their force, to human rights instruments, among them the Convention on the Rights of the Child, and provides that treaties have rank superior to laws.
