A general instruction giving Uruguayan prosecution teams criteria for deciding how to resolve a criminal conflict in the new adversarial process. It covers provisional dismissal, the principle of discretionary prosecution, out-of-court mediation, conditional suspension of proceedings, reparation agreements and the abbreviated procedure, with the normative framework, conceptual foundations and guidelines for documentation and monitoring.
